A practice born out of a child in my life needing a quick Mother’s Day gift, discovering an undeniable spark of enjoyment, and continuously pulling the thread. I have collaborated with clients to bring their flowery visions to life for their loved ones, preserved flowers from sacred ceremonies and am always playing with new ways of empowering each piece through the use of Astrology, the tarot and spellcasting. I experiment with several different methods of preserving blooms and source them from a variety of places around my neighborhood, my personal garden, on my travels, bodegas and grocery stores and my lovely place of employment, Flower Cat New York. I also get a couple care packages a year from kin in the Pacific Northwest of beautifully observed and carefully parted with plant matter. Deepening my knowledge of flowers, their healing properties, color magick practices, planetary and elemental correspondences, Druidic flower magick and more, each piece calls for a different combination of this wisdom. It is an honor to expand this practice as part of my livelihood.
